Colorado Business Owners · founding members

500 founding spots. Experience Velvet Worm Pro free for 120 days.

The Velvet Worm is a Colorado business directory with one rule: every listing is submitted by the owner and checked by a person. No scraped profiles, no dead phone numbers, no pay-to-exist. Founding businesses get the full Velvet Worm Pro membership — enhanced visibility, the full profile, unlimited leads, analytics and the Learning Center — complimentary for 120 days. No credit card required, and the listing itself stays free forever after that.

How it works

1. 01

   Submit your listing

Name, address, category, and a real description. Takes about five minutes — and the description field tells you when it is long enough to rank.

2. 02

   Enter your code

The invite field is pre-filled from this page. That is what flags you as a founding member.

3. 03

   We review by hand

A person checks the address and details, usually within one business day. No scraped data goes live on The Velvet Worm.

What you get as a founding member

• · Google Business Profile link, booking link and one custom link
• · Priority placement in your categories and cities
• · Up to 20 photos and 5 videos
• · Up to 3 categories and 25 service-area cities
• · Unlimited leads and full visibility analytics
• · Services, FAQs, projects, offers, updates and hiring notices
• · Full Learning Center access, included
• · Velvet Worm Pro badge and event posting on the Colorado events board

After 120 days your complimentary membership simply ends and your listing continues on the free plan — nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. Your Pro content stays saved on your account, so turning Pro back on restores it exactly as you left it. Keep Velvet Worm Pro for $17/month only if it earned it. Questions? hello@thevelvetworm.com
